OUGD404 - Studio Brief 02 - Development

Originally I wanted to create a photographical journal. I have decided to instead merge my photography with a lifestyle journal. I am going to focus my journal on where i come from, Norfolk. Norfolk is commonly underrated, so I want to exhibit examples of the features of Norfolk that are interesting to experience.

I will go on a photoshoot and capture some of the things close to where I live that I find interesting. It will try to promote norfolk as a good place to visit. The layout will be clean and minimal as this particular art culture is missing from norfolk and I feel it would benefit from this greatly.

I have created a series of thumbnails with potential layout ideas. I hope to use these in my final design.

I decided to use a simple grid that would display an image on one page and text on the opposite. For this I produced rulers that will hold the title and a body of text. These rulers are also where the images will be held. I have placed a margin to separate any body text and headings.
