Our concept developed well into a meaningful design. We decided to take one of our ideas and it developed into a professional concept that would do the exhibition justice. It uses a colourful and engaging theme that will attract an audience. We have used social media to keep the exhibition current and we will easily be able to promote it this way. The use of Twitter and Instagram to share the construction of the work and produce descriptions for each piece is a good way to get the current generation involved.
The production of our designs are successful and use current bank related material to fit within the theme. I have chosen the appropriate stock to print my invitations onto. I have felt very confident now, printing my work, for the last few pieces of work I have produced and enjoy taking full advantage of the equipment available in the college to produce everything at a high standard. Ed's posters have been printed on a thick stock that compliments them well. All of the work we have produced has been mocked up on images of the space we are to use and they look professional.
I am pleased with our concept and how it has developed. There is still a small amount of work to be done, but only minor changes to the name and design of some of our products. Before we pitch our concept to the sponsors this will have to be done and I feel our group will need to create some final physical mock ups of some of our ideas. I am pleased with how my group has worked and pleased with the people I was teamed up with. I was nervous about who I would have to work with, but everyone has contributed evenly and made the work manageable for everyone.
