The final product is a user friendly immersive experience for a user who can personalise the experience for themselves. The simple sign up process allows the application to make accurate suggestions for the user based on their interests and taste in music and events. The design is engaging and in keeping with current application trends using a stripped back interface and animations to make the experience immersive.
The application was positively received. The overall design is successful and many people felt it created a calming experience. The typeface is successful and clear and easy to read. Many people felt that all of the colours experimented in the main colour scheme were successful and would of liked to see the colours used throughout the sign up guide.
Many people felt that the features were all beneficial but there are more features that could make the experience even more so convenient. For example a seating plan for events would be necessary for events that have different prices for tickets depending on the seat location. A few people felt it could also be useful to use a catalogue to view previous events that the user has attended. Many felt that taking advantage of syncing to Facebook and other third party apps was successful and to make this an even more useful feature to give the user the option to sync with their calendar so they can plan for events such as birthdays. Many felt an option to choose a payment method later on in the application would be essential for users who don't want the application to remember their details .
All of this feedback is useful and although the final outcome has reached, there is always potential with an application due to the ability of updating. In the future of the application, when budgets increase from profit the application makes, this will allow for more hours to be spent on the design and increase the animation use in updates in Stub 1.1 or Stub 1.2 etc. All of the features that are suggested above, are features that would have been suggested in beta testing with developers and the public and so would make their way into the application eventually. The beauty of application development is having the freedom to make updates and develop it further. Saying this all decisions made within the update process would have to be as informed as the decisions made in this project have been.
