Problem
Local events aren't publicised on a large scale and often tickets sell out without the opportunity for most to purchase tickets. People miss out on purchasing tickets for events causing frustration or disappointment. As well as some smaller events not selling enough tickets or making enough money to continue the event on a regular basis.
Objective/Aims
Create a user interface experience that will allow the user to personalise the interface to ensure they will be notified on events, gigs and nights out. Create this interface so that based on personal taste in music, culture and artists, the user can be notified on a personalised selection of events he/she would be interested in. Also create the interface to allow the events holders and organisers to use this as an advertising platform in order to boost ticket revenue and popularity.
Target Audience
Students and young adults, aged 18-25 who are interested in gigs, nights out and events but miss out on buying tickets in time or don't hear about the events through word of mouth.
Requirements
Produce a user interface experience that will successfully achieve the objectives and aims. It can be created from any software and be used on any platform. Make the interface engaging and an experience personalised to the user. Produce a remit of how the interface will source funding and continue to grow, develop and generally continue to run without the loss of funds.
Deliverables
A promotional video and/or stills that will be presented with a rationale and description of the interface is and how it is used. Create the interface as well as promotional material that will promote the interface and generate a group of users. Design boards that record the process of production and final outcome.
