After reviewing the initial ideas, a feedback group positively received the concepts first drafted. The group gave more material to look into. After describing the first concepts, the group suggested I look into E4's E Stings competition where E4 accept entry from the public of programme gap fillers. This could open the potential to create the programme gap filler competitions for Dave. The group were also interested in the mocumentary style gap fillers and said it sounded similar to the Channel 4 show Gogglebox. The group suggested further research into the programme was done.
The group helped to develop the initial ideas further and suggested a similar concept to the documentary idea but instead include cameo appearances from the celebrities who have a big presence already in Dave's shows and animate them watching their own shows. This reality style is very current and on trend at the minute and will entice an audience. It can also involve as much satire as is wanted and use voices from the actual celebrity presenters.
Another idea that was suggested was to change the title cards that are currently used by Dave and create "be more like Dave" meme style title cards. The "be more like..." memes are in trent and current and will definitely entice an audience with it's humour and suits dave identity of being the home of witty banter.
