OUGD406 - Studio Brief 03 - Group Ideas and Development

To begin with, my group sat down and brainstormed a variety of ideas that we could consider looking into, to form our exhibition identity. We thought about everything from the building itself, to themes such as cops and robbers, and bank's blueprints.

Of these ideas, my group decided to look into the idea of cops and robbers and try to merge it with the blueprints idea. My group really struggled to come up with a name for the exhibition until we decided to go with "Get Rich" which was printed onto one of my team member's tee-shirt. We started to produce ideas for the exhibition and the elements that we had to design.

We began to think about the colours to use and decide on a font and logo. I designed an invitation and included the logo, designed by ED, and the blueprint colour scheme into this. I decided to design the invite to appear as if it was a cheque that someone would receive in the post. which is an engaging way of capturing the attention of people we invite.

I also produced a feedback sheet that is in the form of an invoice, to keep with the corporate bank theme. We would like to include an old receipt spike that visitors can stick their feedback sheets to.
