OUGD406 - Studio Brief 04 - Development

To start my production, I asked my peers to brainstorm with me some conversation starters they would use. This task was a lot of fun as we brought our heads together and created as many as we could. My friends are a real laugh and comedy is the best way to engage with my audience. Many of these quotes are ones that we have come across with in our experience and know will spark up a conversation.

Together we produced a large amount of quotes and I hope to use most of them:
"Can I borrow your charger?"
"Does anyone have an iPhone lead?"
"Did you go out last night?"
"Hi"
"Whats your middle name?"
"Where are you from?"
"Why don't you have a macbook?"
"You off out tonight?"
"Been to la Fonte yet?"
"Hey, I DJ"
"Wanna go halves on creative cloud?"
"Whats your favourite typeface?"
"I just fookin' love techno"
"Tesco meal deal?"
"Black cafe for lunch?"
"Do you have Behance?"
"Its pronounced Beh-hance."
"Have you sorted your house yet?"
"Where do you know me from?"

I have produced a variety of designs that I am considering for the final design. I want to keep it simple and keep the quote to one side on its own. To prevent this layout from being too simple I have used the quotation marks to incorporate a design.

On the reverse I have planned some ideas to create a pattern. Playing cards often use a pattern on the opposite side as decoration and to suit the same tone of voice, I am going to do the same for my cards. I have used a variety of shapes and lettering to include the LCA theme and branding across my design.
