Originally I was going to produce a monotone box for my cards, however after receiving some advice, I decided to use a coloured stock for this design as the cards were all digitally coloured. This gives the design a variety. I am not used to producing digital work with block colour as I have always felt this is not my style of design, however to even out the digital production, using coloured stock neutralises this. I printed black on black, which creates a varnish effect. This sort of design will encourage the audience to look and investigate.
I am really happy with my overall design. I wanted to experiment with creating a purely digital design as I had recently focused on manual process. I feel that this project will encourage me to experiment more with my digital work in the future. I feel that this piece of work is engaging and will inform the target audience. Many people chuckled then reading through the cards and agreed that they were comical enough to get people hooked. I am also impressed with the efficiency of the production. I designed, printed and constructed this piece of work all in one day which shows me I can produce quality work within a short amount of time.
