OUGD406 - Studio Brief 04 - Research

My ideas involve creating a social media layout. These layouts will be a good way of holding information. Facebook has a format that allows people to comment on images and post. This would be an engaging way of informing my target audience. I could include quotes and events and information that freshers would find useful.

Twitter has a similar format. It uses a feed that users can add comments to and can upload images. It also includes a box for trends and people to follow, another area I could include information such as events and who to make friends with at university.

My other idea involves creating playing cards. For this I have looked into the playing card packaging and the patterns they use on the reverse. To make my design engaging I intend to create a piece of work similar to playing cards as this is always an interesting piece.
