When it became time to print, the chosen cartridge stock was cut down to size and fed through the laserjet printer. The printing was an overall success, however, due to the standard of the printer, the double sided pages are slightly off in places and haven't lined up properly. This is something unavoidable in the final print, however, when produced commercially, professional printers have facilities to prevent this. The quality of the images are high and printed well. The effect of an image bleeding onto the other is successful and when printing was easy to achieve. The only thing that brought back the printing schedule was having to format the page numbers as Indesign doesn't allow you to print from the start of the document if page numbers start further in.
Using the multi section bind was successful, this technique of binding does allow the reader to open the book flat on a surface and view the entire image. The spine was glued with PVA to bring the whole publication together and ensure a tight bind. It keeps the pages together and prevents them from slipping which is common when leaving a multi section stitch bind open.
