When the user first opens the application, a step by step guide to creating a simple and easy to use account opens. The application allows the user to create an account with Facebook, allowing the application to sync the users likes in music, sport, films, television, books, events and pages they have liked. This means the application, based on the Facebook users likes, will recommend events that are more suited to them. If the user chooses not to use Facebook they can create an account using an email address.
After this the application asks permission to allow access to the users location. It then asks the user to choose secondary locations. A large portion of the target audience, mostly students, will more than likely be travelling between two locations, their home and place of university. This means the user is not restricted to just their current location.
After this, it asks permission to sync with the user's music app, Spotify account and Instagram account. This provides the application more detail about the users taste in music as well as their interests that they follow on Instagram such as comedians, film directors, actors or designers.
The final step is setting up payment options. The user is given three choices, setting up card details, logging in to PayPal or connecting their Apple Pay account.
Once the account has been activated, the application opens a homepage with five sections displaying a general suggestions section, a section that suggests events based on location, a section that suggests events based on genre of music, film and theatre or art, a section that displays suggestions based on artists and individual celebrities and a final section that displays the users e-tickets.
There is also a search option when a user is looking for specific events. When a user is viewing an event the event page displays all the necessary information: location, date and time, price, age restriction and related events. There is also a preview option for users to listen to the artist that will be playing at the event.
This wireframe has been designed to make the experience of using this application quick, simple and stress free for the user.
