OUGD503 - Studio Brief 02 - Collaboration Benefits

To understand what can be achieved through collaboration, motives, the way my team will communicate and the skill set within the team was jotted down.

I personally have always enjoyed bringing illustration into my graphic design which is a technique that I haven't used for a long time. Having two illustrators on the team will benefit the practice and bring this technique back. Working with designers on different disciplines will bring more variety into the work.

To communicate we have already established a Facebook group chat which is available to all members of the team and easy to access. We will meet once or twice a week and keep the communication consistent. We will be meeting more frequently towards the end of the brief to bring the work together.

There are number of skills that the group brings to the team. Editorial, packaging, photography, presentation and illustrative skills are all involved in this group and will benefit the practice and the brief the team will undertake.
