OUGD503 - Studio Biref 01 - Dave feedback

I presented the Dave title cards to a feedback group to see what their response would be and on how to improve them. The first final draft of the title card involved the dave logo, however many people felt that because it involves Dave's name in the passage, instead they recommended to use a small symbol such as the moustache that Dave already use. They recommended using the sofa or the television from the content of the claymation as this would tie the brand together. Out of the two the group decided that the television suited it the most.

The feedback group decided that using centred text on the title card was more legible when displayed on the television as well as looking more balanced on the title card, as apposed to using left aligned text that was originally being used.

The 'playing next' text on the claymation ident originally was animated as if it was being typed on screen, however the feedback group felt that it created the feeling of a typewriter too much and suggested that the text appear instead of be typed on.

To compromise, a combination of both animation styles was used in the final edit.
