OUGD503 - Studio Brief 01 - Post Production

After the animation was made, the video was edited to suit an ident for Dave. Because the video was animated in one go it had to be cut to meet the 20 second time the ident has before each programme. The frames that were exported helped to cut the video.

Following the cutting, the sound was added into the video. The soundtrack from Have I Got News For You was placed at a low volume so that it is playing in the background to make it feel as though it was playing from the television. The voice overs was provided by a fellow illustrator from the illustration course. He did impressions of Ian Hislop who speaks in this video.

The Dave logo was placed in the bottom corner of the video and the 'playing next' in the top corner opposite. It is animated to type onto the screen after the video takes place, before being followed by one of the 'Be like Dave' title cards.

After effects was used to edit the video clip because of my experience with the software in previous projects.
