To communicate the meaning of rigid, something that is stiff or hard, a tall typeface was taken into consideration, a tall typeface appears to be confident or 'rigid. To play on this even further, the letters have been customised so that it appears the word is a square, a shape recognisable of its rigidity. Several typefaces were experimented with, until one was found that was both legible and fits the design.
Using a rounded typeface, ITC Avant Garde, a trend in men's razor products, a variety of the letters were customised with a razor shape. This proved to look out of place so parts of the type were edited to appear as though they have a sharp edge.
Keeping all the type in capital, another trend in men's razor products, the 'A' was custom made to look sharp like a razor.

Day 24 - Sleigh
Another appropriate word for the current season, this logo turns the word into a physical sleigh. It changes the 'G' into a physical sleigh. The word is angled as though it is moving up, creating a motion and making it more engaging.
Various styles of sleigh were created but the simplest form complimented the chosen typeface.

Day 25 - Roast
This logo explored the concept of time. To roast something takes a long time so the element of time was placed into the 'O'.
It didn't sit well with the lettering so instead, a simple roast tin was positioned underneath the word. This was far more engaging and added variety to the collection of logos already.

Day 26 - Smash
Taking the literal meaning of 'Smash' the bottom of the 'A' is turned into broken hole. The rest of the word is broken, as though it has been smashed.
Day 27 - Snooze
This logo uses the concept of turning the word into a face again as it has been successful previously. Originally the 'ZZZ' sleeping symbol was experimented with however it is very overused.
Instead, the two 'O's are turned into two closed eyes appearing as though they are asleep.

Day 28 - Cassette
A 'retro' looking typeface was chosen for this logo, because cassettes are old technology. Using various letters counters to create the shape of a cassette the logo incorporates the cassette shape into itself.

Day 29 - Braille
Taking the literal meaning of braille, a custom typeface that is recognisable as braille was developed.
The logo is lowercase to ensure it is more eligible.

Day 30 - Wick
To begin with, the form f a wick was experimented with, however this did not develop. The shape of a burnt wick was instead experimented with, but this was also unsuccessful.
An elegant typeface was chosen, Athelas, that might be seen on a candle company, the 'I' also looks like a deformed candle that has been burnt for a while. The tittle of the 'I' was turned into a smoke stream, seen emitted from a wick once a candle is blown out.
