A treat is often conceived as a cheeky snack. An extra bold typeface was chosen because of it's playful nature. This logo simply places a bite in one of the letters. This logo would work well as a cafe or patisserie logo.
Day 09 - Ferocious
This logo take inspiration from the Jurassic Park film franchise logo. Using a scratch imagery, several concepts were created before deciding on the more obvious claw scratch.
The typeface used, Cochin, is a serif of a serious nature and its serifs and terminals are sharp in nature.
Day 10 - Pipe
A selection of type that replicates a pipe's imagery was experimented with. The typeface, Heathergreen, was chosen for its visually similar qualities as a pipe. It's rounded form is symbolic of that.
To push this further the two 'P's were customised so they appeared to be pipes.
Day 11 - Lollipop
This logo uses a rounded type as lollipops are perfectly circular. The 'L' is kept lowercase to make it playful.
Initially the 'P's were turned into a lollipop silhouette, however visually this wasn't legible or recognisable as a lollipop. Instead the lowercase 'i' is turned into a lollipop.
Day 12 - Cafetiere
This logo simply uses the icon of a coffee bean on top of the 'i'. Using a serif typeface that is elegant, it is appropriate for a classy coffee shop.
Day 13 - Holy
This logo simply uses the halo symbol, that represents halo, above one of the letters. The typeface, Apple Chancery, communicates a spiritual and righteous tone of voice.
Day 14 - Database
Icons that are linked to database were experimented with, even the concept behind a spreadsheet. These experiments weren't engaging so a more simplified design was experimented with.
Applying a bar graph to the 'T', the chosen typefaces weren't communicating a professional enough tone. Gotham Black in full capital made the logo appear more professional.
