This song when listening to it, makes me feel mopey, sad and lonely. The message of the song is that of trying hard with someone for it to fail in the end.
Meteora - Faint
This song makes me feel angry, aggressive and physical inside, giving me the urge to do something active, like go for a run. The message it holds is fighting for someone to notice you, not getting your say, not being noticed, and just having enough of being ignored.
Minutes to Midnight - The Little Things Give You Away
This song is sad, and internally makes me annoyed, thinking about injustice and unfair situations. It makes me frustrated and just want to break out. This song is telling someone they're not as good as they think they are.
A Thousand Suns - Waiting For The End
This song is motivational, and listening to it encourages me to 'get a grip'. It encourages to let go of whatever it is you pointlessly hold on to. Its a motivational message reminding you to wait for the good times to come, knowing you have to move on but not wanting to and just giving that extra push.
LIVING THINGS - ROADS UNTRAVELLED
This song makes me feel alone and lost because of its sound, however, the meaning of the song contradicts how I feel, encouraging you to look forward, and not to feel too bad about the past.
Hunting Party - Mark The Graves
This song is fast paced and induces anger and frustration. It is about not treating someone right.
One More Light - One More Light
One more light, is a slow and sad song, released in the last album before Chester Bennington's death. It makes me feel sad and loss, but there is beauty in the tune. The song is about having faith in someone who otherwise does not have faith in themselves.
Using the way these songs make me feel and letting how people perceive album artwork from primary research inform choices, artwork concepts will be sketched before moving onto development.
